Physical Security at Data Centres

Hackers have recently compromised two large Data centres in Asia and leaked major tech giants’ login credentials. They focused their attacks on the weakest link in the setup of Data centres and managed to secure access to privileged data.
This incident has highlighted the importance of security audits by subject matter experts to ensure that industry best practices are implemented and checked.
At Willowmore, we work with our partners to ensure the following:
The cabinets are properly secured and only approved personnel can access assigned racks
There is a clearly approved time window for contractors to access the servers at Data centres
There are identity checks on the contractors on-site
There are clear digital audit trail of who accessed the site, why the access was permitted, when the access was done and if the equipment was properly secured upon exit
Our solution is designed to ensure that our customers can quickly install new cabinets or retrofit existing cabinets to enable digital smart locks - without the hassle of tedious additional cabling of the data centres and provisioning of IP addresses. The operations are secure and easy to use. Identities can be authenticated using secure passwords or biometrics.
